We had a fantastic stay here over our 7 nights! The rooms were spacious and well-organized for storing our ski gear. The hot tub was a perfect end to our ski days, and my girlfriend enjoyed the attentiveness from the staff, who left us a lovely Christmas basket.

My kids wished for a pool for swimming, which would have added more fun to our stay.

Unexpected room upgrade surprise

Our initial room had a key card issue, but the staff quickly moved us to a larger room with an extra bed. The amenities were delightful, especially the inviting outdoor fire tables.

Unfortunately, the hallway noise from the street was noticeable at times, which interrupted our relaxation a bit. Plus, the air conditioning unit made some noise during the night.

The hotel had a great location for my weekend strolls, with harmon park just over 1.5 km away, perfect for enjoying the outdoors and soaking in the local scenery, while the last blockbuster, a quirky landmark, was only a short walk of around 600 meters from my room, making it a fun stop on my city explorations. the accommodations were comfortable and clean, which is always a plus for my solo trips.

Saltwater pool experience

My recent stay at Waypoint was excellent. The room was spacious and equipped with modern amenities, including a large TV and a great workspace for my laptop, which catered perfectly to my business needs. The staff was attentive, aiding me efficiently with check-in and accommodating my request for additional supplies. Additionally, the hotel’s location is convenient, making it easy to access nearby dining and attractions.

The location was fantastic, just a short drive to shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the outdoor seating areas by the gas fireplaces, perfect for relaxing. However, I did notice some noise from outside that was a bit disruptive during the night. The bathroom could use some updating. I found a few things that seemed outdated and not perfectly clean. Also, the check-out process could be clearer, and the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times. Still, I plan to return for the overall comfort and convenience of the place.

Had a great time here with friends! We loved exploring the area, especially the nearby historic downtown and checking out the High Desert Museum. The hotel was clean, with a comfortable room, and even had easy access to cycling trails. There's plenty of parking, and you can grab free coffee in the lobby if you don't feel like breakfast.

One thing to note is that our AC wasn't very cold at night, but it didn’t ruin our stay. Just might want to keep that in mind.

The updated design of the King Room with California King Bed was impressive, featuring modern and clean decor that felt welcoming. Enjoyed some fantastic sweet biscuits during breakfast, which were a delightful touch. The lobby and outdoor patio, with their cozy firepits, made for a perfect working environment, enhanced by great wifi. While the pet welcome could have been better, the thoughtful gesture of providing a treat for our dog was appreciated.
